A Small in one brand can feel completely different to a Small in another.

Fabric makes a much bigger difference in polewear than you might expect.
Soft stretch fabrics are comfortable and versatile. Mesh can add coverage while still letting the polewear underneath show through. Flares and flowing fabrics can make movement look incredible in heels.
Sequins, lace, hardware and more structured fabrics can create serious impact for performances and showcases, but they can also have less stretch than a simple stretch fabric.
